My name is Matt Ervin and I’ve been professionally employed as a software engineer since 1991. I’ve spent most of my career developing applications and system services using C++, C, and assembly language for x86, 68K, and miscellaneous micro-controller based systems such as 6805, 6811, and PIC. I started may career doing embedded development for real-time systems in C and assembly. Since then I’ve done extensive application and system services development – primarily in C++ for Windows platforms. I obtained gainful employment in the legalized gaming industry in 1999, and have been there ever since, where I have developed two gaming machines (one for U1 Gaming and my own bingo machine), a few protocol simulators, and the communication infrastructure for a casino management system.
